I could not careless what the press report as to who said what. It is the usual press hype prior to the start of the season. Once the racing starts all that counts is who is first at the chequered flag and at the end has the most points. Any illusions created by the press are precisely that. F1 is and always has been a closed shop and as the audience we only get to see what the 'directors' what us to see. Some idiots blacking their faces and shouting racist abuse are nothing unusual in the world at large ( not that I condone the behaviour) but hand it to the press and we have a major news story.
