Fiat need to do something about this, motorsport is the best form of promotion for any car manufacturer, they've got the motorsport know-how, why not spend a little and use that know-how!!!
Fully agree, Touring car racing is a key part of Alfa Romeo's heritage. IMO Alfa should have taken one of the following decisions: 1) support James Thompson and N-Tech with the 156 for one more year until the 149 arrives, the 156 with its slippery shape was still competitive on the fast circuits 2) Entered the 159 which imo has a great starting point with such a stiff chassis
I am so disappointed that Alfa cant be botherd with any of the touring car races btcc and wtcc.Just hope their there next season or I may be changing my view on the Alfa romeo brand!!
