Before i can commit, i need to switxh a few things around.. and oh..... i actually also need a car! GTA is in a garage 400 km away with a defective ECU, and the blue car not on plates untill april.

Could always show up in my Jeep.. i heard Robert is comming in a VW Caddy

GTA is ready for action.

Fresh APK (MOT), KW Var.2 suspension is back on the car, Pagid RS4-2 Blue pads on the front and Ferodo DS-Performance pads on the rear.

I'll be at the ring friday in the evening or very early saturdaymorning.

Spoke with Aernoudt today (a couple of times). We even lost connection while he was going through Aremberg. In Fuchsrohre his GSM had signal again.

On friday he had some problems with his front wheelbearings and the top engine mount rubber. Bearings got replaced in Koblenz today. New engine mount is in my car. Hopefully we'll be able to have it fitted tomorrow.

Just got back from my dealer. My GTA had a rattle at the right front. Heard this the moment I picked it up thursdayevening (wonder why they didn't). Some metal thingy with rubber in it, connected to the stabi (don't know the name in dutch, so english is impossible also) was worn. They replaced in about half an hour. So I'm ready to go tomorrow. Plan is to arrive at the parkplatz around 9.00 saturdaymorning.

Friday was mostly dry. I started raining sometime in the afternoon. And plenty of it.

Predictions for saturday are cloudy but dry. Sunday should be sunny.

Today was not a lucky day. After 10 laps (in 2 hours ) at about 10:15 the noise from the front train was louder then my engine... Took hours to find aynone that does Alfa's in the Eifel (that actually has any parts on stock... all this just-in-time delivery is usually NOT in-time )
At the end of the day could do 2 extra laps before they closed the Ring due to extensive rain. During my 2 laps it was pouring; felt like a swimming pool Too bad the Q2 diff is not orderable in the Netherlands yet, could have used it !

Tomorrow the upper engine mount will have to be replaced, then see if we can make some extra laps this week-end. Noise from the front train is gone, so that's OK now. Just 12 laps on 1 day is terrible especially if the track is nearly completely empty !

The pearl blue looks great indeed

(good to see the difference in level of suspension between the M3 and (in this picture) my 156 (chased mode)... mine a sports suspension (too soft, to 'push' it on the Nurburgring), and the M3 a track suspension (way less body roll for example). Always difficult to choose the correct balance: comfort/handling (as the 156 is not a dedicated track tool) currently it is fine to cruise on the Ring (9 min laps) and sporty road handling; I was a bit disappointed about the stiffness )

Arnoudt, what suspension do you have on your car? Is it the KW variant 2, as sold by Novitec? The M3 behind you looks like he is going down a straight

Have you uprated your swaybars at all? That should reduce bodyroll without impacting ride comfort too much. Better than putting stiffer springs in.
