Re: Alfa 166 CD changer emulator, mp3 player -> www.loudlink.eu

Hi guys! I`m already buy a loudlink for my Lancia lybra and I`m very satisfied with it! The loudlink is worth this money. Who wants to listen a CD which ˝over-jumping˝ and CD-R is not readable, nobody! Anyway who wants to listen a good music must buy it. Arnold is a very good person, so Arnold thanks for this once again!!!

(Hw version 1.3.2 shipped already with Fw 1.0.5 )
http://www.loudlink.eu/download/loud..._ar166_105.zip
(unzip the file, copy fw.bin to the root of SD card...that's all)

Loudlink explorer PC Toolkit: (Alfa166 use CD1...6 - ALFA147 use CD1..CD10)
http://www.loudlink.eu/download/loud...lorer_v102.zip

.NET framework from microsoft if not installed yet on Your
computer (Necessary to run Loudlink Explorer) you can download from here:

Re: Alfa 166 CD changer emulator, mp3 player -> www.loudlink.eu

Anyone simply had their iPod installed in their 166? i was thinking of using a dashboard mount from IPCK. It's 20 quid plus fitting so seems like a deal to me. Has anyone used IPCK?

Arnold, quick question, did you really find the RGB cables in the trunk of the car? Any ideas how to find them or do you have to buy additional components to install them? really excited and anxious to buy my own loudlink

Stoneage, if can't found cable in circle of Battery so you don't have cable installed. And it isn't true that every 166 have CD Changer cable installed. But you can bay cable on this link Becker Wechslerkabel - Powernetshop.at and fit yourself.

Re: Alfa 166 CD changer emulator, mp3 player -> www.loudlink.eu

hi boys, i have a question. It is possible to connect a DVD player to the ICS with simple cabels, for example the audio with 2 stereo jaks through the cabels of the original CD changer, and the video through the ports of ICS for the navigation system?

Right. I'm going to order one of the loudlink products for Clare's GT as a birthday present as she really likes her tunes in the car but only has a single CD with her BOSE setup. I'll let you know how I get on, assuming they are easy to fit DIY

The site is back up & running so I've emailed Arnold.

One thing I've seen which I think is similar is this

Very cheap and maybe similar to LL but LL appears to be made for Alfa

Re: Alfa 166 CD changer emulator, mp3 player -> www.loudlink.eu

I was just about to order a LoudLink but thought I'd check here first for a review. I'm reading the words explorer and .NET and, as a Mac OSX user, I'm already starting to cringe. Will I need any special software to be able to use LoudLink, or is it simply a case of dragging & dropping files onto the SD card as a normal removable mass storage device?

Hi mate as far as I know you can just drag and drop to the SD card just like any other - as long as you have a card reader. I am a Mac user too and have been looking into getting one
