am interference when engine on at low revs only? !

Hi guys

So I spent all of saturday fitting my new stereo.

I had an issue with no AM reception but following some help on here bought a pc5-52 which sorted that. Thanks guys!

Having put the car back together again I now notice that while AM reception is perfect when the engine is off I now get a horrible high pitched hum. The weird thing though is it goes at 2000 rpm and above? !

Any ideas anyone? Its really frustrating!

Thanks jwq. I used pre wired adaptors so in theory everything should be earthed. The only thing I can think of is the pc5-52 cable which didn't have an earth cable?
