ipod touch with spotify app... does it work?

Just getting used to B&M on my GQV.

I want to get an ipod touch that I will use to listen to music offline with Spotify Premium, dont use itunes at all since subscribing to spotify.

Will I be able to play this music in the car using the B&M? Doing a search reveals that it is both possible and not. So I am none the wiser.

Anyone got any ideas or used this combo?

Works great. Ensure you have latest versions of both software.

But can you skip songs ect using the steering wheel controls?
