fleet commander

I have put a connect + unit fron a GTA in my 156, all works apartfrom the steering wheel controls, done a lot of searches and came across this
"in the 156 gta with radiophone built from 2002 to 10/2003 there is a electronic unit that manage steering wheel controll for only the radiophone , you have to take the signal before the elettronic unit.

Code of unit is: OE 60678515 "

Is anyone able to confirm it it will work.

Refer to this topic: http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/ice-a...ml#post3794262 (Alfa 156 2004 Steering wheel controls)

For non-nav headunits, the steering wheel controls are via 3 wires (RC-A, RC-B, ground). With nav, it's a 2-wire system. Indeed, there is a factory interface that converts the 3 wires from the steering wheel to a 2 wire system. The part number in your picture is slightly different to that in the link, but either may work, not sure.

But if you can get one of those, you should be partway there. You'll have to hook it all up, and presumably need another lead from that interface to the back of the headunit.
