No sound, radio, cd, or ipod....
Basically Im getting no sound from the speakers at all.
I dont understand, I added an ipod connection properly and it worked fine, removed the whole unit about 3 months ago for my gauge installation, went to fit it all back today and now im getting no sound at all...
The Headunit works fine it does everything its supposed to... You even here a "pop" when you turn on the radio from the speakers but absolutely no sound. Ive checked the volume control and im totally totally stumped.
Any ideas? Im sooo upset at the prospect of having no music in my car anymore....

New stereo time I think. Sounds like the same thing I had, stereo worked perfectly just no sound. A new stereo sorted it, £50 from ebay.

As above, everything worked except for the sound. Didn't try fixing it, but did try the usual pushing in wiring etc.

BOSE or non-BOSE?
Have you rechecked the wiring/plugs at the back? In particular, that the speakerwire ISO plug is properly seated?

A detailed pic of the plugs/wiring may be helpful.
I suggest removing the headunit to confirm everything looks in order. Also unplug the iPod adaptor, then disable power (to ensure the headunit resets itself; I also presume it's the original headunit, otherwise you'll need the security code), and try again. See if it works without the adaptor, and if it does, it's probably telling you something.

Have you checked the speaker connections under the glovebox there is a plug there it's a grey plug and a black plug that should be connected to each other, may have worked itself loose?

Indeed, seems like one of the speakerwires in that door is probably shorting or dropping out, causing the headunit to go into protection mode.
With the door ajar, listen closely to the speakers in that door - are the woofer and tweeter working (may need to put your ear closely to each one)? If not, a blown speaker could be the fault.
If ok, next you can disconnect the multipin Molex plug in the door jam. Its a tight space and fiddly, but you can flip the light grey locking collar upwards which unlocks the connection, then wiggle the plugs apart. Inspect for obvious corrosion or damage, or pins that have works loose. Whilst disconnected, try the stereo again to see if the rest of the speakers work. If it all seems ok, reconnect, and see how things go.
Failing that, you may want to remove the door trim and inspect wiring inside the door and to the speaker. And/or remove the door sill trim and pull back the carpet, and trace the speakerwires from the kickpanel area where they feed into the door. Pretty fiddly though.

Yeah, from the vid, I would suspect a blown speaker or shorted wire inside the door.
Indeed a short circuit will put the headunit into protection mode. Though I would have expect the headunit to show an Error code, but maybe these factory units don't do that.
So, remove the door card, and remove the speaker and see how you go.
