ICE GODS (Beginner advice Please)

Morning all

I am looking to buy a double Din head unit for my Alfa GT. I have read the various installation posts which are superb by the way but to be honest lost me after the first few paragraphs

Anyway I would not be in a position to try the installation stuff myself (Unless i wanted a smoke filled car), so will be paying for installation

Unfortunately i dont have £500 to spend on Pioneer, Kenwood, JVC etc due to a four year olds love of toys and a wifes love of shoes and handbags So my question is, will any of these units below be any good in your God like Ice experience for my GT ?

I will also look to add a sub with integrated amp at a later date, but the main requirements for me are :- Playback of all music formats, integrated bluetooth for calls (due to long journeys), The ability to connect and use an external hard drive (Album storage), IPhone compatibility for playing music and DVD / VCD playback (Not essential).

Sorry for the long post, any advice help would be respectfully and greatly appreciated

I usually never recommend no-name brands, especially off ebay where you have no quality aftersales service.

In Australia, I've noticed Philips offer the CED1700 for A$399, which seems a bargain. Yet on ebay, the only UK offering of this model is GBP$469 - bizarre. But maybe see how much it is in a retail store, not online. This at least is a namebrand, from a big company with proper service department. Could be a decent choice if it's cheap in the UK like it is here.
