Blaupunkt A03 magazine

My GT has what I believe to be a Blaupunkt AO3 CD changer and no magazine. It would appear you can't buy these anymore. Anyone have a spare they wish to sell?

Read a few threads on units to replace the CD changer for an iPod connection. Might be something to look at but I don't want to pay above £20/£30. I would just get an FM transmitter doins for an iPod as a last resort.

I'd just buy a broken (A03/A08) CD changer off of ebay and swap out the magazine - they are readily available on there for around £20-30.

Following a few at the moment. Not sure whether to try one of those leads with a Blaupunkt connection on one end and a 3.5mm jack on the other. I could just use my iPod or Phone etc.

CD's are bit old hat and PITA. I have a USB/SD card unit in the Spider and auto changer in the F355 and the latter is a pain but as it happens both the Spider and the F355 have a symphony of four and eight so ironically music is not required.

That said the Alpine unit in the F355 does not sound as good as the Blaupunkt in the GT!

Sorry for the waffle, I am as usual dithering as to what to do

That cable doesn't work with the standard head unit! I know becuase I tried it myself when I had my 147. It only works with Blaupunkts that have an Aux out which can be enabled in the menu system - in other words it only works with newer after market Blaupunkts!

i replaced the one in my old 147 for another blaupunkt after market one from halfords. It was the best sound ive ever had in a car, partly due to the bose speakers and subwoofer. Thats what i'd do.
