Help Alfa 159 Ipod Query

Hi Guys,

I have brought this product off eBay :

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUTOLEADS-...item3a6c929706

Which looks really great and I cannot wait to get it installed.

My query is with the wiring in of the device because I have a Black wire which is stated as Ground and also a white but this is not stated in what it is used for? Im thinking possibly a live connection because this uses the CD player connector on the headunit which I assume would of needed a live connection to, these wires are visable in the link above aswell.

Any help would be great,
Thanks and kind regards
Kev

Tried calling autoleads they are trade queries only, so raised it through the shop I bought it through this is there response.

I have spoken to our suppliers reference this problem, the
white cable is a Bus cable and the adaptor should still be working in
theory even without this cable connected. There is no other simple
solutions to the problem you are experiencing. I believe the best option
would be to get this adaptor back and have it tested..

Out of interest what head unit are you trying to connect into stnd or connect nav?

Ahh, so problem still not solved really then??
I have connected the iPod to the headunit and it does work with the iginition on but when the engine starts it seems to disconnect and turn off
I used the standard issue headunit, no sat nav.

Best thing I ever did fitting the Parrot, located the screen just above the side window vent behind the windscreen pillar, and placed the remote between the handbrake and gear lever.

Got refunded & bought a Xcarlink I works, couple of quirks 1) no cd text 2) if you have large play lists & like to flick through then you only have 10 changes from the stereo (as it can only see 10 tracks I guess) but over all glad to not be stuck with radio drivel

Warning

I bought one of the Autoleads units and the only way I could get it to power up was to set the dip switches to Audi even then it didn't work, no sound. Somebody must have got one to work otherwise they wouldn't,t sell them, or is that why they are always on EBay.
