Looky Looky Halfords fitting?

Im really tempted with the new pioneer app radio.

Would have no idea how to fit it myself, but halfords will do it all in for £24.99

This includes dismantling dashboard etc. so all in all a bargain but - really - it is Halfords!!

Chap I spoke to said as it is a big store they have their own in house 'audio technician'

Put my mind at rest, am i doing the right thing??

Who knows???? The guy working there could be pretty good...............or not. It's just a bit of gamble but then fitting a radio is pretty easy. But then it is halfords. I see your dilemma. If you were local I'd say pop in on sat and I'll do it for £20 but it's a little far.

Does the 159 have space for double din? They surely won't fit it for that rpice if it involves sawing up the dashboard?

As for how much you can trust Halfords - the website has a thing to check whether it'll fit your car. For the 156 it says yes, but you need this fascia adaptor - and it's a single DIN one.

159 is double-din spaced although I understand the whole
aluminium console needs removing to pull the non-standard
cage.

B&M takes up the bottom half of the double-Din slot so that
will need relocations too if fitted.

Plenty of threads on all this.

I wouldn't trust halfords to fill the screenwash, but that's just me.
