Re: help my radio!

does the CD work, or just the same? is it the security feature kicking in?

where did you buy from - have you asked the previous seller (if private) or dealer?

Re: help my radio!

if you bought it from a dealer, then it should be covered by warranty, right? then they should fix the problem.

i must say, i'm not aware of the factory blaupunkt headunit having a security feature like this. either it's faulty, or it's a non-factory headunit, or it's not the original factory headunit. what can you tell us about it? does it look factory?

Re: help my radio!

no idea. try inserting one if you have one.

again, does the CD work? is it covered by warranty given you just bought the car? do you remember if it was working when you first checked the car?

Connect+ systems have failed in the past (ie: become faulty). so perhaps it's stuffed, and you need a new headunit (a replacement probably isn't worth the expense unless you find a cheap secondhand one).

is the dealer an alfa dealer? can you have it checked out by an alfa dealer?
