radio code

Hi there, just searched thru the threads and not found what i am looking for which is.... My radio has locked me out with the code and i just have the four ---- showing. Previous threads suggest i leave the radio on for an hour but even when driving after bout 15 mins it will turn itself off. Any ideas how i can overcome this problem thanks

You need the ignition on for the hour, otherwise the radio will turn off.
I'm sure that was mentioned in all of the previous threads...


Edit: if your radio is turning off even with the ignition on, you have a failed fuse or wiring problem on the switched feed to the radio.

Yes i had been driving for over an hour but after 15 mins it would turn itself off. Its driving me nuts cause now i have to listen to my misses.
