It will convert files to MP3 as it goes, and change the track names so that they're prefixed by number, so that albums play properly rather than in alphabetical order, even if you don't use a playlist. If there's any interest I'll post it up somewhere. Unfortunately it's Mac only because it's written in Applescript; Windows doesn't do Applescript.
