Slippy car mats

The official alfa carmats in my GT keep detaching from their poppers and sliding all over the shop.
Is this GT specific problem or one of the generic foibles?

If so, has anyone found a better replacement, as it is quite dangerous.
I was thinking of using velcro in desperation.

These are the genuine Alfa Romeo GT mats,which they do not slide at all.
