Idea Slippy car mats

The official alfa carmats in my GT keep detaching from their poppers and sliding all over the shop.
Is this GT specific problem or one of the generic foibles?
If so, has anyone found a better replacement, as it is quite dangerous.
I was thinking of using velcro in desperation.

My 159 Ti does the same...not bad enough to be hazardous, but annoying all the same.

My previous GT cloverleaf's mats on the other hand were totally rock solid, so much in fact they were a nightmare to remove when cleaning the car..

I had a similar problem as the fastenings had detached from the mats.

Cured it by fixing a length of batten across the mats rear underside, then drilling a couple of holes in this and using cable ties to secure the mat to the seat adjuster bar (never gets used)

Much cheaper than paying £90 for mats...on the blue moon that proper GTV ones in red come up too!
