Avoid Eicher brake pads

I fitted a set of Eicher brake pads to my BMW the other week, as Euro car parts had a good deal on them.

They were not great to start with but improved a bit at normal speeds as they had bedded in. They have now done 500 miles, so I decided to go for a spirited drive, and was shocked at how badly the car stops with them in. I very nearly didn't slow down in time for a corner due to brake fade, which I never experienced on the old unknown brand of pads.

So be warned, they are not really upto the job and buy something else.

Pagid are much better!! Although that won't help you now.........
Fitted them to my Bora with Pagid discs and can be got for a bargain when Eurocarparts have their regular 25% off.

I have ordered a set of Genuine BMW ones.

They are actually cheaper than the Pagid and ATE ones that ECP are selling, even with 25% off.
