Baby maser QP - mule shots

First Spy Shots: Maserati's Baby Quattroporte Mule

I'd love to see a smaller QP. The current QP V is so big...

Looks good (as Masers tend to), but it doesn't look all that much smaller than the 'full fat' one

Would be interesting to see them side by side...

Very nice. Always been a huge fan of Masers in general (as you know, Al), but particularly taken with the Quattroporte.

Probably still out of my price range sadly!

Maser's are just so cool.

Brera V6 Q4

will be interesting to see what engines it will have, i suspect they will use slightly smaller engines (V6) and maybe even a diesel?

if you look at the wheels, they look offset with the arches, so it looks like its sitting on a shorter platform and in turn, a different body will be fitted (or might be just a funny angle?) Windscreen looks modded to around the A pillar, (picture 4) so looks like it might also be slightly narrower?

Just a complete guess

aiming at the Jag XF / 5 Series?

MkIV Golf 1.8T (Sorry)

The detail in the piece says it will look different to this, this is just a cut down QP body, probably on the intended chassis, hence the offset wheels.

Yes, me too.....and I know it's a moment of madness when I'm doing it!

Seem to be holding prices at around that level now too which is interesting but your last question is the killer!

Maser QP V is too big for me.
But I'd very happily settle for a nice QP IV.
But y'all know that, now don't ya?

This sizing down exercise, I believe, is a good step

I think the QP looks a bit bland considering its heritage and how much it costs...

Don't get me wrong, it is a nice car, but it could have been so much nicer...

The rear lights look like they were taken from a Rover 400, and the front just looks bland.

The Maserati GT though, that is a seriously nice looking car.
