Re: Detailing Clay

I've used it on the GTA and it does make a difference, loads of crap came off in the clay bar. Make sure you use loads of lube (detailing spray)

Blue tac has very similar properties to clay fella, i have been detailing cars a long time and trust me it works, its not the best as it dries out and crumbles, but if you don't want to pay for a genuine one, it works a treat

Re: Detailing Clay

I used it few times and I can recommend it. Really makes a difference, not so visible, but you can feel it. Waxing is easier. Problem of clay is that you need a lot of time. Claying is only one step; you have to (should) wax the paint after it till it is as clean as possible. It is not ideal to clay the car on one weekend and wax on the other when it already picks up some dirt that can’t be washed so easily.

Thanks. If you are interested in the "wet look" for your car, go for the Soft 99 Authentic Premium wax. Its a soft paste wax which is suitable for begginers but remember to buff it off after about 5 minutes as its hell to buff off once the wax hardens. Waxing panel by panel is the way to go.

Agreed - but the Autoglym Extra Gloss is very good and also easy to use.
