Sorry to hear your story Hunter, like you've said there isn't really an obvious good outcome, only a 'least bad' one. Maybe CJ's suggestion of an '08 car and resetting your finance package to put you back in your starting position is worth pursuing.

ARUK are keeping ALL options open but maybe leaning towards a 3rd 159 as a replacement vehicle. Nothing is sorted. Nothing agreed. But had an open chat with him about my fears, worries, let downs etc...

Enterprise will (I hope very soon!) be delivering a decent hire car for my meetings today, tomorrow and Sat morning. Good.

I'm in Holland mon-fri next week on business so ARUK have next week to put their plans into action.

I'm sorry to hear about it yet again. I thought it had all got resolved the last time. To be honest, I'm staggered by your patience with the whole sorry saga (especially as this is a company car.....).

Yes, its a sorry saga and enough to drive me to insanity.

I'm STILL in the Focus - Enterprise don't have a suitable car as replacement in the whole area. Perhaps Alfa UK should switch to Hertz or Avis as their UK partner in future.

Anyway, am with clients today and tomorrow AM with this Focus and nothing yet from ARUK about the resolution.

hunter mate, you really do have the patience of a saint. i reckon i'd have driven it through the front windows of ARUK by now if i'd had your experiences
