Well done BMW

Hate car racing of any sort but fair play to BMW for their dedication to Zanardi (sorry about spelling).

After losing his legs 2 years ago they have worked with him to produce a touring car for him to race. Good publicity for them yes, but who cares....well done anyway....

Alfa did the same a couple of years ago for Alessandro Nannini. Alessandro lost his right hand in a helicopter accident. Doctors were able to attach the hand to his wrist, but he could hardly use the wrist since. Alfa Romeo changed the way to switch gears in the 155 so Alessandro Nannini could race for them in the DTM.

He chose the strong but clumsy and how can't really use his arm for anything you'd normally use yours for but driving. That is a committed driver, I would say at par with Zanardi at least. Hats off to both of them.
