Right - this is the process for the UK. Head of Alfa UK Marketing will coordinate all ordering with Alfa Italy. Alfa dealers will not be involved except to flag interested parties to Alfa UK initially should people have not done so directly with Alfa UK already. There are now order forms available. Servicing / delivery etc will be done either through Maserati or through Alfa UK at a centralised location.
The price will be Euro 134,000 plus VAT (plus any options which are not yet known but there will be some) so its is looking like about £110,000...gets better...not...30% deposit will be required initially, then a further 30% at some point then balance just before delivery. Personally I think that's utterly ridiculous but it gets better again...delivery will be between end 2007 and end 2009...so you could end up putting down £35k now for something you get in over 3 years time

...not to mention what other Ferraris and Masers there will be around by the end of 2009 (with sensible ordering)!
So that's me out...I think £110k is a little too much anyway for what the car will have...£100k would have been ok, less better! But the ordering process is nuts for a "normal" person. So it looks like this is a car for the super rich only who can afford to put silly deposits down massively in advance of delivery. So that's me out...Which I think is a shame...for me obviously

but also for other folks...the dealer I spoke to yesterday said all the people that had tentatively registered an interest had pulled except one.
