Brand New Mito

I note today Saturday 24 August 2013 a full page advert heralding the arrival of "The Brand New Mito"

New front chrome style grill, new rear bumper, some nice new interior trim..............that's about it.

A face lift on the cheap, it is sad that this great marque is only a two model company, just as SAAB were.

With only two models on offer and both heading to middle age the competition within both sectors is heating right up and we. as in Alfa Romeo are being left behind.

I am wringing the neck out of my GT which is now 5 and nearing 100k miles, i have delayed changing in the hope that Alfa offer something new to the masses, the 159 replacement.

MOT passed for another year so i will keep wringing the GT for another year.

"To be a Ranger is to sense the sacred trust of upholding all that such a name means in this shrine of football. They must be true in their conception of what the Ibrox tradition seeks from them. No true Ranger has ever failed in the tradition set him."

The 8C and 4C are fab cars, but out of the price range of the general car buyer that's why i have not counted them plus they are limited production runs.

The 147 is still a cracking looking car.

Never seen a 147 GTA in the metal yet . the GT is a looker also

Do like the 159 but the rear end , needs to be a Breara .
I'm a three door fan for sure , even with hidden handles .

We got rid of our 159, had two 156 models i had a 147 courtesy car last week as i use a local Alfa specialist, the 147 is still a great car to drive.

I love the looks of the GT, inside and out.

There is a 147 GTA in Aberdeen i see all the time it is some car.

The 159 was nice................................. the 147 was superb even for such an old design.

The 159 nice to look at, internally the dash reminded me of a 1990 Sierra company car that i had.

My GT has Red Leather and Bose Stereo i went the xtra mile and got the EOM carpet mats

Nice. i do like the Mito very funky.

I had a wish granted on the cloverleaf club 3 years ago and got a Mito for the weekend for my sons 9th Birthday. It was the diesel 170 bhp a lot of fun.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Nice wish to have granted BTW the 1.6 JTDm diesel has 120 bhp, the QV 1.4MA petrol has 170 bhp.
