I waved at loads on my way to Alfaholics @ Castle Combe last week but got nothing back.

I always wave, even though i drive a 156, you would have to be in cape town though. GOt a wave from a GTV the other day.
I must agree most 156 drivers are plonkers.

Waved at and got a wave back from a 147 today, also saw a 147 GTA going on to the Isle of Sheppey and was dissapointed that he didn't even acknowledge I was there after I flashed my indicators at him

Don't give up on the 147 owners just yet! I will always with out fail wave back or even initiate the waving process if I see another Alfa owner looking at my car!

I think generally 147's are used by 'day-to-day' drivers but there are some enthusiast owners too!!

Recieved a v.nice return wave from a Bella rosso GT, this morning about 7.45, on the M4 west.

They were cruising in the centre lane, while I was making the most of my Fourthless gearbox on the way to Swindon for the big swop over.....

Still the new skool wave to each other..........

The wave is compulsory, just like the biker nod. I guess it’s an acknowledgment of a secret sect of a type of insanity.

Went out in the Spider last night, top down, to make the most of the bella weather and passed a grey Spider with red leather on the Denby Dale road, near the Yorkshire Sculpture park, W.Yorks. Got and gave "the" wave....

I did`nt get the wave from a Black 3.2v6 GT yesterday.I always wave at GT drivers not one has waved back yet!

a very nice young lady in a 156 drove into my road yesterday while I was cleaning the RS, the GTA was parked on the road. she went passed very slowly and then stopped to look at the back of my Bella. She saw me looking and gave me a nice smile, mmmmm

Got the wave from a 164 in ringwood too

I wave to all other Alfa drivers..some respond others don't..as a biker as well I know the meaning of brotherhood, as do most...(except the BM riders of course)

I got my first Alfa wave last week (having been driving Alfas for 5 years). It was accompanied by double light flashes and a thumbs up from the guy who was in a battered 145!!

Gave me a lovely warm feeling inside......

I Never get the wave unless its one of the 2 Alfa drivers i know of the forum!!

What colour was the 164? If it was a red cloverleaf it was probably Moynesey he lives local to Barehurst and would probably wave if he saw a 164!!!

Hehe didn't know there was smth like an Alfa wave, but since I drive an AR (about a month now) I got a few nods and waves (and waved/nodded back offcourse, friendly as I am). Got a few looks too from other alfa owners, and then I nod/wave too, but from now on I'll wave to every alfa

Yesterday was really cool - got waves and even an entire horn concert when I returned the wave from 2 brand new Brera's (a black-one and a shiny blue-metalic one), a red GTV, a silver GT and 2 black 159's driving together (was passing them on the highway and slowed down a bit to enjoy the sight ) No-one from here? (was on the E17 highway between Ghent & Antwerp - direction Ghent)

It was me and you know who me is because i bumped into you the other day.

I cannot believe one of my old friends from the Capri club days has now got the same modle of Alfa as me.

there a miserable bunch up here, i salute any alfa drivers i see, only had one return and that was from another 147 driver!

ill keep trying, one day might salute one of you lot

Just got a wave on Great Western Way in Tiverton from a matching red 147! woo hoo

And another... from a 156 this time! 2 in one day, it must be the weather

I must admit I haven't waved cos I don't see the other alfa in time, or they don't look the sort to respond... until last night I instigated a wave at a silver spider in Yarm and got a response
I must try it more often.

I'm often in Yarm. If I see you I'll flash and wave.
