I got the Alfa wave!!

'Was followed by a grey 159 on the M25 this evening, until he turned of at Jn.24. Anyone here?

I got an Alfa solute by a man in his new red spider on sat night on the A34 near stone and an Alfa stare followed by nod around Congleton by a silver 156 SW driver
Today in great bridge helped another Alfa owner out by informing him that he had his rear right tail light out after he overtook me and had to slow down for a set of traffic lights.

Beginning to think wave thing was a bit of myth after 7 months of ownership (just a trick to make me look foolish ?). But its true, hats off to you Camborne Town 146. Keep the faith.

Ignored by a nice dark blue 156 in Cranfield, passed each other slowly so no excuse there, ignored by a young lady in a 147 (but I can accept that, she probably thought I was a weird old git - she's not far off there) and ignored by a nice red 156 going fast near Finchampstead. Bah!

Wave from a guy in a GT on the A4 just outside Maidenhead this evening at about 5.25pm. SURELY, someone on here????

I got a wave back from a fellow 147 driver turning off the A556 in Northwich last night at about 9.30pm

Saw a black GT in Marlow High Street and noticed the driver saying something like "Look, there's a Brera" to his passenger, whilst pointing. So I gave him a wave and me gave me the thumbs up.

I have to say I've seen some nice looking 156's about Belfast at the minute, including a GTA SW a few nights ago.( oh and a 1.6/1.8 SW at a filling station with a GTA sticker on the tailgate...oh dear!!! but apart from that looked great, with nice alloys and obviously someones pride n joy) Obviously Alfisti, as these cars are gleaming, with little touches that enthusiasts only do or are particular about. My kids and missus just ignore me now, think they're used to it. (dont get much response though from other drivers unfortunately.....lost cause here in NI?)

Was in Marlow yesterday morning, on foot, think I saw you drive past mate - 07 plate red Brera V6, anyway - can't be that many of you in Marlow??

Annoyingly, there is another red Brera in Marlow, but it's a 56 plate, so it probably was me as mine's an 07. Next time, jump out in the road and wave frantically. I promise not to run you over. Been looking out for you but haven't seen you again since that time in Bisham.

I always try the Cinquecento Sporting wave... though only occasionally get one back. I'm glad the Alfa wave exists, and once I get one (hopefully soon) I'll be keeping it up... even if mine will be a 147. :-)

I've been in London all day every day for about the last four weeks but am back around Cookham/Marlow again now for a bit. My GT was parked up just around the corner from Marlow bridge

Driving through Swindon on the Great Western Way, i saw a red Brera in the outside lane followed by a silver 156.The guy in the Brera looked at my GTV then gave it some throttle as he passed .As for the guy in the 156 nothing .Must have been eyeing up the Brera.Nice to see three Alfas on a small amount of tarmac though.

Don’t believe it! I finally get a proper wave! After numerous unrequited OTT waves on my part I had resigned myself to imparting a barely perceptible nod. But only last Saturday, as I was driving at about 14:30 along the A24 southbound approaching Collier’s Wood tube, heading in the opposite direction was an Alfa – like mine, black – like mine, GTV – like mine. The chap was manically waving which was great to see. This guy must be an Alfisti judging by the extremely vigorous wave. I’m not sure if it was THE Alfa wave but he was driving an Alfa….and he waved…..plus I don’t know what a proper one is so that’s good enough for me. So let’s keep up the wave and if this guy is on the forum, a good day to you sir, your impeccable taste in your choice of motoring vehicle is duly appreciated.
