I got the Alfa wave!!

I remember driving up a slip road on the M40 and giving the Alfa wave to a 166 driver on the hard shoulder with bonnet open! It was more of an Alfa shrug...

I used to get the wave in 2002 when the 147 was really rare...

just got a txt from the missus, her first outing in her first Alfa, and already she got a flash this morning from a fellow Alfa Owner.... oh and she has joined AO aswell... I am sure she will pop on and say hi soon.

When I left work this evening, I was approaching the Linwood roundabout (around 5.40pm) and a black '56 plate GT was on the roundabout- the fella had a phone clapped to his ear and stared right at me. Might that have been anyone here?

I saw loads of Alfas tonight on the way home - not usual at all.

I was passed by two other red Breras going north on the M40 this morning around 9.30/10ish... Wave from one, stern "concentrating on the road" look from the other. Furry 'nuff, as the weather was torrential. Both cars looked

Suppose the stormy weather was a side effect of the shift in the time/space contiuum caused by three red Breras in one space at the same time...

And, just remembered, black GTV on A25 near Oxted, 9ish - good solid wave (tho tentative at first)

First report: Monday 156, woman driver, no response...possibly brain dead?
tuesday: Four 147's, one male and three female drivers all dead to the world of Alfa
Tomorrow will try flashing them. Hopefully the local constabulary will not notice me flashing I need a wave!

2 weekends ago, red 164 in harwich, essex, was on a private L plate i think , lady driver, I was flashing and waving madly, as I dont see so many slightly older alfas now.

Got a bemused wave back, so I`ll count that one :0)

Flashed and waved a black gtv in Sheffield last night and got a return flash and wave any one on here? (I was in the red bertie)

My wife got her first taste of the alfa wave this morning! She was in tenterden and got an Alfa "nod" from a fellow 147 driver!

Think I'll have her waving as madly as me before too long!

Purple 145 QV with blue cloverleafs in Stockport station carpark yesterday. dirty but in good nick. I nearly reversed into a load of traffic trying to get a good look

Alfa 147 (male)at lights...I flashed and got a slight raising of the hand! Does this count as a wave ? The next one was a woman in a GT who just looked puzzled and then a woman in a 147 who didn't seem to clock the wave! Also I think? a bloke in a lovely blue Brera waved at me in return for my frantic gestures. Finally a man in a 145 just blanked out my wave and deliberatly looked the other way when he drew up along side at the lights. I'm beginning to think that most Alfa drivers are a) Women and b)not as sad as the rest of us on the Alfa Owners site. My wife is giving me serious stick over this! (kids too). I shall try again tomorrow and then see how thing look. It was never as tough to get a wave out a fellow Bachetta owner

i spotted a rather nice spider in regus car park, so i left a slip with the web site and my user name on his windscreen.

i noticed he must like his alfa as it had a good plate! cant remember the first few letters, but **4 LFA

Saw a beautiful black gtv this morning near tudely/tonbridge area. Had an interesting front plate, black background and white "bubble" font. Driver didn't look at all as if he would wave back so didn't even try.
