I got the Alfa wave!!

I couldn't see past my waving hand !!

Was driving behind a lovely dark blue 147 GTA this morning on the way to work in hove. Flashed my lights so the driver would notice me in the rear view mirror but there was no acknowledgement whatsoever. Real shame cos' this was clearly someone who loves their alfa as it was absolutely mint!

Got my first wave...well it was technically a beep of the horn from a GTV driver in Sneinton, Nottingham. Hello if you post on here. Also got a wave on the M4 from a black Brera driver the other day...hello again. Alfa drivers are a very friendly bunch aren't they

had a smile & a nod from a bloke in a dark blue gtv twice in the last few days. today's was in affetside, bury - anyone on here by any chance?

was overtaken by a 92 spider, he smiled and nodded and i gave hi the thumbs up with a smile in return! first time ever!!!

and i have had the car 6 months!!

Drove just over 200 miles today and only saw two Alfa's I couldn't really wave, I was driving a Peugeot 207......

I'm driving a Dino at the moment If I get waves in that from Alfa peeps do they count?

I drove from Swindon to torrington (N.Devon) and back yesterday (Tuesday) and only saw three Alfa's one very nice black 159 a 147 and a 156.Nothing,Zip,Ziltch. I think my black GTV must have been painted with Stelth Paint.

Black Gtv with teledials today in Watford. N18 RAA or something like that. Anyone?

Might have seen you tonight near the Pulse8 Gym heading towards Winnersh 5:20pm? I would have been the one in the silver GT making the spirited exit from the mini roundabout heading the other way towards Arborfield that could not see you past his a-pillar until he got along side and caught a glimpse of the Alfa nose out the side window, by then, too late to wave all I could do is note 166 in wing mirror!

Can't be that many grey 166's in Reading?!

saw an amazing number of 156's on my way home! Seven plus a couple of 147's, don't normally see that many in a week. Not a wave from any of them.

I'll be driving from the midlands down to Braintree tomorrow morning and back again in the afternoon. So if anyone sees a red 156 GTA down that way and doesn't wave you'll go straight to hell

I got my first wave tonight, well three fingers off the wheel as I flashed him and waved like a loony. It was a pre interior facelift 156 in silver going towards Wolverhampton yay yay yay yay

Does it count if the driver looked bemused?

Got a wave from a 147 on Kew bridge (16.30 ish) last night but it was more of a 'I know him...... Oh feck no I don't' sort of wave !!! (His hand shot up in the air and waved then shot back down again with an accompanying rabbit in the headlights look !!)

Wasn't me mate, i was still trying to charg my battery, was it a gun metal grey? i have seen that one a few times and got good waves back, they are in Lower Early somewhere....Mine is silver will keep an eye out for you

So, I've been an Alfa owner for two weeks and I've had the wave twice; once from a 156 - guy gave me a thumbs-up in Windsor and once when I waved to a black Brera in Marlow High Street. However, most people just look at me as though I'm a bit simple...

Yep, gunmetal grey 2.5, not you then, I was just coming off a mini rounddabout and that sloping a-pillar in the GT obscured the 166 till I was alongside so no proper wave from me anyway.

Saw a convoy of two 156's on the A327 (had already past as I joined) and then another silver one three cars back with a nice lady who gave me a wave

And a Brera down towards yatetly with female drive and male passenger, she was on another planet though let alone wave-prepared

And as for Silver 156 I saw down Mill Lane near the single bridge (if you are Reading local you will know) - use of ones mobile phone while driving...

Pigfarmer, I saw Ray today (red 156, DUF) and told him to be on the look out for a grey 166 waving at him. He seemed rather amused that we're all out doing this but promised to return the wave if he sees you
