Sitting outside the pub the other night I saw another black GT go past, that makes two black GT's, 2L and a V6, and a Red V6 and my Silver soot blower in Arborfield alone There is also a lady in a Silver GT I have seen a few times in the Barkham/Sindlesham area - GT's seem to be as common as muck now round here!

I did see a silver GT behind me in Molly Millars lane area of Wokingham about four weeks ago. I'm presuming that wasn't you otherwise you'd remember it....

I shall keep me eyes peeled for you, also the lady in the GT....

I have been waving to ther Alfa drivers since my first in 1978. I still feel the need sometimes to acknowledge someone who has had the wit not to buy a panzer wagon!

Not exactly an Alfa wave, but sitting at a roundabout on Thursday night after leaving work I saw a driver slow down on the roundabout and check out the GT as he passed.

Now it's not the first time I've seen this reaction to the GT, but it is the first time from the driver of a soft top Maserati! A nod and a smile later (reciprocated) and he was a speck in the distance.

Made my day that did.

I just had the opposite experience. Was on the way to pick up my GTA from my local Alfa specialist and was in a fairly beat up 156 courtesy car. On the way there I slowly passed about 20 Ferraris all out on some group outing (they were going in the opposite direction, I didn't overtake them ). Obviously I just drooled but I like to think if I had been in my bella there may have been one or two nods of recognition.

First time I've wound the window down to listen to somebody else's engines. It was pretty impressive.

My first response, A41 yesterday, near Elstree, silver Brera, white male driving. Waved back nervously, looked as if I may have been interrupting a gear change.

had a nice blast up a shortcut to the motorway last weekend, followed by a woman in a red spider twinny with the roof down. she overtook me down the motorway sliproad so i gave her a wave as she went past - nothing. didn't even glance back

For the last week I have seen a silver 156 on the strand beneath the Orwell bridge coming towards me everyday and I have raised the four fingers in accordance with tradition but no response - I have been off work so do not normally drive along there during the day.

For the first 5 times I was totally blanked - today he looked at me and gave a weak half smile - Blimey, maybe I've scored?

got a nice clean definet wave going along the A505 between Royston an Duxford from a lovely black GT last week. And then driving through Royston i had a hand up from a silver 156.

What a great week I have had. I took my Gt to the Lake District and en route from West London I got an Alfa Nod from a maroon 156 and I got another one today at Birdlip by Gloucester from a green GTV. 2 in a week !! Not only that I saw two white 147 GTa's. One on the M6 and one on the M4 and prior to this I only saw it in photographic form. Ahhhhhh !

Its a rare day I go down molly millars lane, but it is not impossible - but as I said I have not seen any GTA's or I would have remembered

I got a wave from a 166 on the A505 between Royston and Duxford on Friday - early afternoon 12.15 ish - and a silver 156 but was blanked by loads of 147's, 156's and 3 GTV's !!

waved at a beautiful black 159 and a puce coloured 147 on the way into work this morning. Not even a flicker! I'll just have to wave to my wife in her 147 when I get home

i use that road on a very regular basis and im not one of the 156's that blank other alfas. do like to give a wave or the four finger salute at least. Apologies if it was me. Although i also have quite a few blanks from people along there. I will keep at it tho and make it a common thing to wave along the A505 eventually from all alfas.

nice double wave from silver Y reg GTV today first as i let them pass on the A40 at oxford and then again in aylesbury as we parted company. both driver and son waving vigorously. fair play to the pair of you

infact,,,looking at the pics of your car, we have passed on the A505 about 2weeks ago(give or take) coz i distinctly remember you giving me the largest of alfa waves just after doing a fabulous overtaking manauver.

And yes i responded with a full salute back.

Past a lovely black 147 GTA on the A35 again on Sunday, I flashed my lights...don`t supose they hang out on here from time to time.
