I got the Alfa wave!!

Out for a spin from Kew down the A316, round to Weybridge, back through Walton and Sunbury and back to Kew !!

Followed a Purple 159 1.9 JTDm into Weybridge, waved at him as got behind him... didn't see any response

Passed 3 Light Blue 147's in Walton and Sunbury... not one fecking response !!

Nomad, your quite right I see AR every day in and around the area and nothing!! If you see a grey 159 do wave and I will wave back.

Passed a lovely red shiny 156 in Durham yesterday. Driver tried all he could to not look at me in a very concentrated way. Still waved ! He couldnt ignore my 11 year old smiling and waving from the back window,

He smile and waved !!!!!!! Result.

Now if the next passing alfa driver waves at him we will have a convert and a happier driver.

just met a really nice bloke by the name of chris,got stuck 2 cars behind him in rush hour traffic on the A57 in Rainhill,identical 155 to mine,managed to catch up with him at the M62 roundabout,directed him to a couple of alfa forums

I reckon they must know it's you Nomad! You seem to see more Alfa's in a day than I see all week!

Passed a lovely black Brera going into Lichfield who did his best "I can't see you" impression . Still no luck - ever!

Had a series of wave backs recently (no waves initiated by other drivers).

2 GTVs and a 145 driver who was just getting into his car as I drove past and waved... he looked slighty disconcerted but still waved back.. Good work that man

Got a wave back and a genuine look of joy from a fella in a red 147 (I think it was a 147 anyhow, only saw the car at the last minute) on the dyke road in hove last night. The smile/look was one of a serial waver who so rarely gets a wave back... He seemed really pleased to get a wave! As was I to have the wave returned in kind! At least thats my take on it, could be wrong ofcourse... Anyway, enough rambling on... good on ya fella! Anyone on the forum?

Apologies to Red 159 who gave me a wave near bearwood golf course the other day - not enough tea at that time of the morning and I was too slow (waved back, but unless you have super-powers you would not have seen it! - too slow on my part!).

Guy in a 159 sitting at lights this evening gave my GT the once over as I drove past, but his only reaction to my enthusiastic thumbs-up was a perplexed double take.

TallPaul, watch out for me. I live about 5 miles from the Bearwood golf course just outside Wokingham. I'm driving a Rosso Miro 156 GTA. I've been waving to every Alfa in the Wokingham area and not a damn thing. Mind you I heven't been waving to anyone over the last couple of weeks as my bella is currently mnisfiring on one cylinder and so has been sat quietly in my garage but she goes to be fixed tomorrow so I should be back out in style soon.....
