I got the Alfa wave!!

Blanked today both in GTV's
Black one in Altricham
Blue one on the M62.

I hope your not in here

It must be "get blanked by a GTV" day today - completely blanked by 2 in the space of 5 minutes on quiet backroads between Bury & Bolton this evening both drivers just looked at me like "who the hell are you, do I know you?!"

I don't expect many Alfa drivers to initiate a wave but I would've thought owning a GTV would mean the driver would at least realise WHY he was being waved at...

On a road trip to Edinburgh (Friday Night) & Blairgowrie (Sat to Mon)via Leeds (staying there tonight) as of 5 this afternoon!!!!

Only just, decided to drive my BellaBruto, instead of Mrs Foxie's FestaZetec S....

SO IF YOU SEE ME WAVE!!!!

Got blanked by a red 156 SW this morning

I parked one car back from a 156 SW last night on the ferry home. He had a good look at my car, but completely blanked me. Miserable git.

Everyone else I've passed hereabouts since Monday have been waving and flashing with gusto.

My son thinks it's great. My wife and daughter think we are stupid.

In the last week I have been blanked by :

A green 155
A silver 156
A red 156
A yellow GTV
A silver Spyder
A Maroon GT (first time I have seen it in that colour as well)
A silver 159

I am going to stop bothering

Had my GTA for a week now and have been waving like a goon at all Alfas.To be honest i feel such a fool, blanked or looked at in disbelief.Managed to get only one wave only because i flashed this guy and from the look on his face he just put his hand up on instinct!

Definitely deliberate pulled in to the middle lane so I had to over take big thumbs up

I "wave" at every Alfa I see - on average about one a day.

It is rare to get an acknowledgment. However there have been many times when I have noticed one after it has passed me so it is possible that they waved, I missed it and they thought "miserable git".

Realised I was concentrating more on the opposite carriage way trying to spot other Alfas this afternoon than on where I was going. Changed focus onto my side and what happens?

GTV, 156, 156 in quick succession. All within about 6 cars. DOH.

All passed too quickly to see. Particularly with windscreen reflections.

I saw a black Brera going the other way on the M25 the other day, I would have waved but they wouldnt have seen me because in true Alfa style he really had the hammer down

I went from portsmouth to brighton on sunday eve hoping to see loads and do waves but i saw 1 gtv and 2 156's, I waved at all of them and none waved back

hehehe got a nod and a smile from the guy i see regular on way home from work,hes got a silver 156 sele too and we always see eachother as we have to slow down to go over the speed bumps!

But on the other hand i was stopping in south mimms services the other day and parked in between a 155 and a face lifted 156,they were getting in their cars as i was getting out but both completely blanked me and eachother miserable gits esp as my boys of 3 and 6 were saying look dad 2 other ALFAS and said "hi" to the guy in the 156,he just turned his nose up..W@NKER!!!

Been driving around the Cotswolds all weekend and saw several Alfas (various models) and didn't get one single wave back.
