I 'think' I got a nod back from a guy who pulled up behind me in a yellow/gold Spider in Wakefield this evening.
I didn't do the full wave to him...just a nod in the mirror  |

 Well, after all the drivers of older Alfa models accusing all the 156 and 147 owners of being the ones who don't wave back all I can say is 'Boo.sucks' to the Green 155 driver who dised me on Saturday  |

Got a nod and a smile today. Somewhat contrived - I had just left my local indie having bought some more oil (what else?!) when I saw a blue Spider coming towards me. I waved, and got a nod and a smile in return........then realised it was one of the blokes from the garage. Oh hell, I'm counting that one.

I got my first Alfa Wave today! From a GTV in Nuvola Blue - mind you, he never waved to me when I was in my 147, the same colour as his! Obviously the Brera must speak volumes, lol!

I've been trying to prove to my girlfriend that the alfa wave exists! she didn't beleive me til last weekend when we were out in here 156 and we got a wave back! Weirdly tho nobody waves when I'm in my 166!

Turned the corner at a set of lights in Caldicot at about 6.15pm last night & there was a blue GTA Sportwagon coming towards me, flashed my lights & waved & got a proper good wave back, i think the chap was as shocked as i was to see another GTA, made my day.

Yes! Lady in a black 156 Sportwagon this morning. Gave her a wave, got one straight back, no hesitation. Actually, I'm wondering if I knew her or something because it was possibly a little TOO quick.....heigh ho, I'm counting it.

Result! Was taking some friends for a drive in my new GT earlier this evening, when I saw a 159 coming the other way. I flashed the lights and gave a wave - and got a wave back! Great new car, and an Alfa wave on the same day. I'm made up.........!

Yes, it still works!
Although I've only had an Alfa a couple of weeks, I always try to acknowledge others, and just on the way back from Devon yesterday, had a couple of responses (although I'm ashamed to admit I didn't realise another 164 was coming the other way until I'd nearly passed it! Too used to seeing the modern ones, I guess... ) |

I got a flash, a wave and a smile from a bloke in a Rover 216 Coupe this afternoon. 
"That doesn't count as an Alfa wave." I hear you say.
It does if the driver is the mechanic at my local independent Alfa specialist and probably knows my car better than I do. |
