I got the Alfa wave!!

Was following a shiny Black 155 GTa on the A329M on saturday PM, very nice car. Got to the lights, didn't get a wave but got a lovely smile from a nice brunette nice.

Had a couple of days driving in France last week.

I waved at every Alfa I saw (at least 5) - they looked at me as if I were mad.

Exchanged a wave with k992061 in his nice red GTV Spider yesterday in Wimbledon. Somehow I got that in without the wife seeing, otherwise she would have given me a whole lot of sh1t!

Not sure if this counts but last night pulling off the A127 I stopped alongside an Italian registered Mini (new one). The lady in the mini looked at my Bella and gave me a big smile and thumbs up. Who says Mini's are cool?

I got a flash from a Blackline GT on essex regiment way, I gave the person a nice hand wave of acknowledgement. Was it you?

I used to get waves from everybody in my old triumph tr6. but since owning a gtv6, 146, 147, 75 and now a 166, I've had nothing. although last year when at le mans in my 75, I got a huge blast on the horn and a big "out the window" wave from another 75 on french plates.

I had my first experience of someone acknowledging me first this week. Tuesday morning on Addington Road (Mad Mile) a red 156 (I think!) gave me a thumbs up. Also got a wave back this evening from a black GTV/Spider on Wickham Road. Why doesn't this happen when me girls in the car with me?? She normally laughs every time my wave isn't recipicated.

Croydon's not the best for waves, I do normally get them down South End/Brighton Road where the traffic slower and busier. More time to react.

I'm off oop north tonight and I normally get a few on the journey. The other half used to mock me, until last time I had a bit of a convoy with a black GT (with a plate ending in GTV) swapping lead every now and then. Before he pulled off at his junction he gave a big smile and wave. Ever since then the missus loves it. I caught her waving at another car the other day when we were in her car... she's trying to start the Micra wave

good on her! i get the same reaction from my better half, she thinks its funny i wave to other alfa drivers

i feel for you though having to be in the micra

She's trying to start a Micrawave...I thought everyone had one of those.
