I got the Alfa wave!!

Gave a wave and got a wave back form a red 145 QV at the barriers at Brunel Uni this afternoon Oh yeahhhh

I am a female Alfa Romeo GT driver. Last week I had a wave from Red Brera Driver on A1 towards to Metro Centre in Newcastle. I thought that is very cool. I returned the courstey.

I know it may come accross little bit embrassing some times but keep Alfa Wave going because this makes us more special that any other car brands.

I think I am becoming a petrol head by influene of my husband

Flashed and received a flash and wave from a red 155 in Mitcham earlier

Ive given up waving and flashing because not one person has waved back they just slam on their brakes because they think im warning them of an arive alive van.

Gave a flash and a thumbs up to a black 156 going the other way along Yiewsley High Street this morning and got a finger lifted from the steering wheel in return - better than nothing!

^ Depends which finger it was.

I don't think the 'Alfa wave' exists in Jersey, well I certainly haven't witnessed it...Might try and start it over here!!!

I waved at 2 Alfas on the way back from Uxbridge this evening (about half 6).. a red one and black one.. Sorry still learning numbers.. But the black was was..... NICE....

waved to a guy in a black 159 on the A12 this morning (twice in the traffic)...not a sausage in return oh the corner of his mouth may have moved

I travel in to London from Hemel Hempstead most days and I wave at most Alfa cars I see (sometimes I wave at the moving ones aswell ) but I have not received a single wave back. But I will persevere. I've got a black GT 06 plate

waved at two alfa yesterday both on a30 near heathrow - a silver 156and a black gt - not a dickie from either!

Passed a fellow alfisti on the M20 eastbound this morning at about 7.45 and flashed the hazards - got a flash in return. Think it was a GT but can't be sure.

I waved at an Alfa outside my house, but then I realised it was mine. What a fool I felt!

Previously I have only had wave-backs, but last night on the way home through Archway I got a wave!

The only wave back I've had was from an 'old dear' driving a 147

Not one but TWO Gabbiano Blue 147's like mine in the same village! Wave from one of them, the other was parked up so I'll let that guy/gal off

Waved at someone driving a red GTV in South Croydon earlier tonight ... nothing back ... Nothing from others I've waved/flashed at previously either. Not giving up. In fact even more determined now. Every Alfa everywhere I go can now expect me going all out to get some response back.

Got a wave from a blue brera at some traffic lights in swanick, derbys. Waved back but the missus in the passenger seat went OTT and nearly knocked the rear view mirror off. Bet the brera thought we were mad. It was quite exciting though.

At least your girl joined in ... I just get ... Why do you keep flashing/waving?? No-one's responding back. In fact they probably just think you're weird!!

First time I tried it on the M6 this afternoon, got a wave back from a Black 159!

Then tried on several others, but with alas no success. Although a very attractive lady in a Brera Spider smiled at me back (that'll do!!!!!)
