I got the Alfa wave!!

Still no response from other Warwickshire owners.............

Nod from a bloke in a blue GT on the M4 last Sunday

Past a fellow 147 owner going in the opposite direction in Chatham today (a dark 02 reg), no wave but we looked across at each other to acknowledge the cars . Next time I'll give the thumbs up.

My good God... been up the M40 to Brum and back the last couple of days, and pulled alongside 3... count 'em, three black 156s and looked over at the drivers, and not so much as a glance!!

You'd think that people would notice when a car more or less exactly the same as theirs pulls up next to them wouldn't you

Not too surprising if you were on the stretch near Warwick

Exchanged flashes with a brilliant blue sportwagon out the back of Brentwood on the Ongar road.

yayyyyyyyyyyyy , after giving the wave for weeks and getting nothing back besides strange looks ,i eventually got a thumbs up from a guy in a black 156 driving along the Stourbridge Road in Bromsgrove on 26th april, so if this was you ,

You can call me sad if you like but today is a big day in my life!!

Having wanted an Alfa all my life, today, 1 week-ish after getting my GT, i got my first proper, fully qualified, at speed, Alfa-wave!!

Passing Bournemouth airport, i flashed and waved a lovely black 156 (i think) with the big Evo spoiler on the back... And he flashed AND waved back!! The hair stood up on the back of my neck and i have rushed home to make this post!

It was wicked and my thanks go to the driver of that car for making my day very special!!

A silver 156 flashed and waved in return just on the brow of 'slack hill' heading out of Chesterfield towards Matlock this Sat. Anyone on here? I was in convoy with a black GT behind me! Attempted another Alfa wave shortly after but the guy looked totally baffled.

Oh I lost count today on the Penrith meet

I'm sure the woman in the Black 147 has never had so many waves

I did a flash and a wave so did the other 10 of us

Getting a reasonable return for my efforts here. Maybe Alfa drivers in Dorset are more aware of the tradition???

Probably cos the average age is 105.7!!

This morning on the way to work, sitting in stationary traffic on A43 dual carriageway towards J10 of M40, Misano Blue Brera alongside my Misano Blue Brera. Identical apart from the alloys, 18" horseshoes whilst I have 18" spoked. How rare a site is that

Side by side for at least 5 mins and girl driving did not acknowledge me or even look across once. We could have wound down windows and compared tyre wear or fuel consumption, it would have passed the time.

Only consolation was that mine was cleaner than hers.

on my way back from the penrith meet i was nearly home and absoloutely BURSTING to go to the loo when i spotted a nuvola blue GTV - i'm sure it was the same one i took photos of last year at the Tatton Park Alfa Experience day.
There can't be many of those about, it's the irredescent blue/green one.
Sadly he didn't see me even though i managed to wave through the pain that my bladder was putting me through.
Who owns this baby anyway?
