I got the Alfa wave!!

Waved at a blue Brera in Cleckheaton this morning.
The Dr Who lookalike driver gave me a bemused wave in return.

A chap in a red 147 was driving past as I was getting into my car outside Halfords in Uxbridge this afternoon. Gave him a thumbs up, and he gestured back to me in the way one might gesture to a prince!

Best Alfa wave I ever had that's for sure!

i live in the Mcr area, Bury to be exact, and have had my Alfa now for 2 months; felt a bit of a plonker at first waving to other Alfa owners, but have got used to it now; but alas no wave back yet!

I think I'm going to have to give up on waving.
In London there are just too many! There's two 147's in my street, one day I passed 2 GTA's 2 GT's and a 159 just in a 4 mile trip to work

None of them returned the wave...

This is really odd.... where I live there are probably 6 Alfas - at least thats how many I have counted. I know one owner well from work (Susan, blue 147) but none of the others. After whining that nobody waved at all when I was touring the UK recently, I was driving back from the gym today and saw two Alfas BOTH WHO WAVED BACK!.
OK one was Susan.
OK here in Orkney EVERYONE waves like lunatics whatever the marque - we are insanely friendly.
But it made me smile.

HUGE wave this lunchtime near Morrisons, Cheltenham, lights and waving from that gleaming grey GTV, good on yer buddy, keep it up and we'll get some more at it.

Blue Brera and a Black 156 today... No waves

Gave a big wave to a chap driving a blue 156 Westbound on the M26 yesterday afternoon as I was convoying back with Jon and Dinesh - he returned it enthusiastically too. I think the other two may have had the same treatment based on what I saw in my mirror - think we all pulled level with him for a moment as we overtook to say hello

just waved and flashed at a fella in a red 159 by the pig station in wrexham. got a "wha? eh? who the?" look back. always makes me laugh and lets hope it gets him started.

saw LOADS of alfas at the weekend in fact more than I have ever seen in the chatham area but alas no wave.

only joking had a great time at the alfa spring day on sunday look forward to another meet!!!

Waved to Jon Wood yesterday in Cookham but I was in Mrs Snapper's Freelander, so he just looked oddly at me :-(

Got a wave and a nod from a silver GTV close to where I live.

Here's the weird thing - on the drive there (from Wokingham) I only saw one other Alfa, on the way back I saw NONE. Where did they all go?

I'm even closer than that - I'm actually in Finchampstead so am around the Sandhurst area quite a lot. Make sure you wave first - I've given up waving as I get so few responses (unless it's a GTA, I always wave at them) but always wave back if waved at.....
