I got the Alfa wave!!

I GOT THE WAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

from a black 147 GTA on the Tring road in Aylesbury.

They let me in to my turning and everything, and a saw the passanger looking at my car as they went past

I waved back too

Hi Phaderunner ,you should at new ALFA's , us modern Alfa owners rarely get the wave, yet whether its a modern Alfa or an old Alfa at the end of the day were all nuts for owning one and should show our madness by waving at any age Alfa.
ermmmmmm , does a 98 ,156 class as a new or old Alfa.... new i suppose.

Don't know how many Alfa owners are also current or previous bike owners, but bikers always acknowledge each other with either a nod or a headlight flash. I think Alfa owners share a lot of the same passion and the Alfa nod is a similar expression of comradeship, after all who had 'nipping to the shops' at the front of their minds when they decided to buy their pride and joy?

Saw it too late to wave - 147 Collezione at Scouthead, Saddleworth. Looked good though.

Driving South on the A6 on saturday after having watched Bedford give Rotherham a sound thumping 56-17, we spotted a black 159SW heading in the opposite direction, waved and got a full hands up from the driver

The Alfa wave is not dead

not exactly the alfa wave but came out of a client's house this morning and he remarked on how nice he thought my car was, he even called his wife to the door to say 'look at that, d'you like it?'. she said 'oh yeah that's really nice, bet it was expensive though'... 10 year old design for mainstream money still attracting such attention? could only be an alfa

I wave at every Alfa I see, unfortunately not many respond.

Oh dear Simon, even the missus Isn't waving

A dude trying (near stationary London traffic) to go in the opposite direction in a nice 159 was eyeing up my GTA this evening...we gave each other the thumbs up ...not sure if that constitutes the Alfa wave though!

i gave the thumbs up to an 07 plate Spider in Farnborough...very nice car in Black. first time i have seen a Spider in the flesh...very nice...( i was on my mototrbike however so not sure if i got a wave back)

Got a thumbs up from a guy in a grigio 156 eyeing up the GTA in Brixton high street.

Went past a new spider and a 156 parked next to each other in a lay-by on the A4074 on Monday, beeped the horn and the bl**dy thing didn't work. Fixed it now though.

Went past a red 156 with a big spoiler (like mine) while in the 159 loaner, waved without thinking and got a wave back! Top Man!

Really nice black Brera heading south on the A470 on the out skirts of Cardiff today AX06 ___, not sure of the last three letters. Saw it yesterday outside Cardiff Uni, no wave...

I think I saw that in newport on Fri Aft - women driving, I was walking so no wave.

My wife was waved at in Kings acre road ,Hereford last thursday i think.Which Alfa was it ?,i asked, a silvery green one she replied. Did you wave back? i bellowed, no didnt see it early enough she respnded. Women !!!!
