I got the Alfa wave!!

Apologies to the GTV driver who flashed me up yesterday night in Welling High Street, I was in a world of me own and didnt realise it was a GTV until he/she had passed by, i did flash me Hazards but may have been too late, Darren

I seem to have seen loads of alfas over the past 2 days.

On the way from Wishaw to Uddingston saw a Red Gt a silver Brera who had a wee look then 2 156's and finally a 159.

Drove into the local petrol station this evening and there was a reddy pinky colour phase1 GTV aswell.

Only one that I seemed to get a response from was the Silver Brera, gorgeous car!!

6 am this morning(just now) left some bloke with a 156 looking tired and bemused in a 24 hr garage in wrexham after my "alfa driver? good man!" i think he twigged when i jumped in the gtv lol.

I'm an ex-Alverstoke boy now in Southsea, commuting daily to Andover. I'll keep an eye open for you.

I found mutual waving to be the rule when I had my 155, mutual ignoring more commonplace with my 156. I collect a red GTV tomorrow - let's see how that goes...

Followed a nice (V? reg) black 156 sportwagon down the. A217 this morning. Didn't manage to catch you on the mad mile. Due to traffic you understand.

oi iam a 147 driver and i always wave but no one waves back at me so if you see in the surrey area a 147 with brian car sounds (bcss) on the car thats me yay

Another 164 flashed its lights as I was getting into mine on the morning of the 31.01.08 in Barnehurst. Its the first time another Alfa owner has reacted to my old 164 in a long time, kinda restores a little faith.

First one for bloody ages - a lad in a red 145 in Windsor this afternoon. Didn't hesitate to wave back at my thumbs-up. Good man

I flashed and waved a dark blue/black GT at Sleaford yesterday and he looked at me gone out?? I think we should get a sunvisor sticker of the website address, and at least they might think to look on the internet. Or maybe they were just too posh to wave?

Who was driving the Black GT on the M4 East bound just before J8-9 yesterday at around 4pm?

I was in the black GT behind you for about 2 miles before I took the junction.

Got a wave from a grey 147 coming down the Kelsall Hill (A54 Cheshire) as I was going up.

nothing from the yellow spider on the A217. or the blue 156, or the silver 156.

Black GT and a grey 166 in Yiewsley today both got a flash off me but gave nothing back. The 166 was driven by a small Asian lady who looked like she could hardly see over the steering wheel let alone wave at Alfas so I didn't really expect anything... and the GT was being driven in a very spirited fashion and I can only assume its gentleman owner was too busy to notice me, so I can forgive him!

my appolgies to the driver of a silver 156 last sunday on the A120 near Harwich in Essex. You waved just before we passed so I wasnt expecting it.

We followed a black C reg Spider along the Stratford Rd in Shirley today - top down and looking lovely. Would be great if it was someone here!

Theres one guy round here who will wave/flash, but other than that people dont seem to realise what they're driving!

At last I got a wave back today. The firt one for ages. Thankyou to the driver of the dark blue GT in Warsash Road, Fareham it was me in the metallic blue 147

I wound my window down at the lights the other day after I had a mini-race with a new GT 3.2 and said 'Nice GT mate!' He seemed to appreciated my comments and said I was bloody quick and that he'd spotted the 20V Turbo emblem on my door surround.

Nice blokes us Italian car drivers,

I wave reguardless, some just look and think whats he flashing for, others dont even bother, but when you do get a wave back its nice.
