I got the Alfa wave!!

ive been ignored by alfa's on the A55 too, a red gtv and black 156 pass them quite often so they must be from around here

Coompletely ignored today by a nice Misano Blue Brera with non-std exhausts (round, black quad pipes) between Glattbrug & Zurich airport.

I'll let you off as I was in a Toyota Avensis taxi rather than my Spider

to the black 156 driver this morning on the A1 from Sterling corner up to Elstree. the sight of another Alfa in my rear view mirror inspired me to have a little more fun on the way in

Just been flashed by a silver 147 in Tidworth near Salisbury. I waved back, wife said you don't see that often.

Then went round the next bend straight into a "Safety Van"

So thanks buddy, 'cos the car behind you also flashed and that got me thinking! Managed to slow to exactly 30mph! Not that I would speed in a built-up area you understand.

I followed a red Brera into Annan today with a private plate on. I don't think the driver looked in their mirror

And there was a silver 156 (I think) at the Bank Street lights in Annan - I waved but they were a few cars back.....

Soundly beaten by a stunning V6 red Brera off the lights on the A30 - we both parked in the Exeter Airport Car park, didnt wave but had a chat in the bus to the terminal!! Counts for 2 I reckon!

I had a chat with a nice bloke this evening in the local tesco car park his RED Brera is

Waved at light metallic blue 147 on A1068 near Blyth today - nowt No-one around here waves!

waved at a silver 156 today in Clanfield, the driver gave me a smile and a nod.

Don't see too many Alfa's around here, but I do try to make some kind of acknowledgement of the presence of another tasteful motorist. Very rarely get anything back, I think some people just don't get it. Weirdest moment was in a petrol station, lady pulled in right next to me in a nice red 147. I commented that you don't see that ever so often (meaning two alfa's parked adjacent - and it really is rare around here!). She looked at me like I was crazy - even after I fumbled over the explanation I am sure she still thought I was mad!

Saw a Silver GTV in London, then another one right behind it with the aero kit. Jumped up and down with excitement, then the second GTV driver saw me...acknowledged me, so I waved back, with a big grin

Waved at silver GTV near Hepscott today - nothing!

i was waved at by a woman in the passenger seat of a blue 147 while i was sat waiting for her indoors to buy milk and bread from the tescos petrol station in northampton. if you are reading this sorry i didnt wave back i was in a world of my own, id just beasted myself at the gym and was knackered.

I just got a wave and a flash from a Metallic Grey GT in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. Sorry if I dint wave back in time, I was daydreaming. T'was the wife who noticed and got more excited than me!
We were in the Proteo red 156 with DEZ on the plate.

Got a wave from a chap in a black GTV on the London road in Brentwood this morning.

As luck would have it, I was changing gear at the time so best I could do was a 'quick raised palm from the wheel'.

hi guys i used to to get alfa wave in my old 33. i'm glad that its still going. just for your info, i'm hoping to pick up my GT in a couple of week (used 07 plate) and looking forward to seeing some you guys on the road shortly and giving the "Alfa Wave".

I think I got a wave form a gent in a red GTV on the M25 yesterday heading northbound from the A13 round to the M11.

Just moved to Truro and haven't had one alfa wave yet, not for the want of trying either, there's a few 156's about here, only seen 2 other 147's (5 door in blue and a 05 3 door in red) so far. Will just have to keep trying.

Drove back from Paignton yesterday and passed a gold GTV spider, 3 147's and a 2 146's. All I got back was a wave from one of the 146's........
