I got the Alfa wave!!

My Wife got a wave yesterday in the 166, she even waved back! (well jelous now!)

Doubt it mate.. Alfa drivers in London dont seem to notice another Alfa. From reading this thread looks like the majority are from outside of London. Ill look out for you, im not too far from Croydon

Alfa waves are so much fun, I keep free styling as the passenger. I think I'm confusing my fellow locals.

Picked up a German GTV on the M25 yesterday and we drove in convoy for bout 10 miles. Then we went past another red Brera driven by an old boy. Good wave from him.

wave from an elderly gent in a red 33 series 3 on ipswich Road, colchester, saturday morning.

then on sunday morning got a wave rom a guy in an n plate red 155 widey in brightlingsea, essex.Well the mrs did, she was driving.

Exchange the Alfa wave every morning with a fellow in a silver grey phase 2 156 saloon on the A417 near Wantage...

Got a wave from a silver phase2 GTV this morning in Clayton, near Bradford!

Don't be down on 156/147 owners. To be fair though I let a 2001 Gtv out of a side street on Friday expecting a smile or a wave. No such luck, he looked at me as if he had found me on the sole of his shoe!!!!Maybe he borrowed it off a mate?

Was followed by a silver GTV this morning around 07:00 on the M4 between J8/9 and J11. It was tipping it down and partially dark so it was difficult to see if they waved or not.

I experienced my first ever Alfa wave on my first ever day of Alfa ownership.

Saw an Alfa Red Brera while driving in the 166, flashed the lights and waved at him, and he waved back!

Almost as cool as getting the car itself!

Got my first Alfa wave today - I used to wonder what you guys were always talking about.

A guy in an 07 GT Monza let me into the traffic on Mount Merrion Rd in Dublin. He drew level at the lights and gave me a little wave. A few smiles - made my day anyway! And his nice clean GT put my filthy dirty GT to shame...

Anyway if you ever read this I'm just saying hello and thanks for letting me into the traffic!!

Anybody here with an Alfa red 156 GTA Sportwagon on a 'B' plate at Lakeside today? Nice car & nice alloys - are they 18s?

Flashed like a loon and waved at a black/dark grey 159Ti on an '07 plate who flew past me on the M40 southbound somewhere North of Northampton at around half past 1 today, got nothing

Same story with a blue 156 1.8TS who overtook me further down towards the Stokenchurch Gap at 2ish

Not that those times are to be used to figure out how fast I was going...

Seen two cars in Croydon I would have waved at, had I been in the Cup

Saw another Cup in South Croydon at about 12:30 on Saturday, then saw a yellow Spider in almost the same place today at about the same time.

I didn't feel it would be right to wave when I was in the Merc.

Got a wave from a 146 in Salisbury yesterday despite the miserable conditions. My first one....yes!

Haven't been here for a week or two, but just had to let you know I followed a mirror immage of my Spider up the M3 to work this morning, when I got a chance I pulled up alongside, gave and got an Alfa nod then pulled away and left him behind!

Have just seen in Swindon a blue GTV followed one car behind by a silver spider,never have i seen three GTV's (including mine) in such a small space .Compleatly blanked by both though
