Blimey, I've just seen a........................
Can't Believe it. I've just seen a Lancia Thesis in the flesh in Harrogate with UK reg plates on it. Very stylish motor - the photos don't do it justice!
I wonder how well it would sell compared to the 166 if right hookers were sold over here?
It was getting a hell of a lot of looks from pedestrians and drivers alike.

Hi Levi!
Welcome back! I have to say you had a few people here worried at the beginning of the year after the tsunami that hit Thailand. I hope you weren't affected, as we knew you were headed that way at the time.
How was your holiday? Where are the pics?

Did it have a Harrogate parking permit cos I may be in Harrogate this weekend on the beer. Going to Revolution again!!
The Thesis is a lovely looking car - seen a few in Italy. Such a shame that Lancia pulled out of the uk.

Thanks for the Tsunami concern GC - We just skipped out of Thailand in time so we were in Aus when the big wave hit. I'll post a few pics later if poss.
Back to the Thesis - Couldn't see if it was a 'resident' of H'gate but keep your eyes peeled Alfa20V if you're in town on Saturday. It was dark metallic blue. I reckon Lancia could sell cars over here again especially if they put the new Fulvia into production.
Apparently the Ypsilon outsells the Mini in mainland Europe!!
Where abouts are you from Alfa20V??

I live just north of Sheffield, but got a good mate who works for Taylors Tea as the export manager and another who works for the exhibition centre. I'm in Harrogate as often as I can as it's a good night out and the place always treats me well.

Enjoy the night out then and have a 'Russian Bride' in Revolution to line the stomach.
Is there ever a northern meet going on in Yorkshire? I might just pop along if there is...
Back to the original subject, the Zagato Ypsilon looks a bit of alright too.

The Thesis is a lovely car. Not sporty as the 166 but with its own character. And it drives soooo nice! I love it.

As yes those awsome cocktails!! Next time I go, I'll let you know via PM. The husband of my mate has a 156 2.0 in silver.
Dunno if there's a meet for us folk in Leeds or Harrogate. I'm sure someone will set me right when they see this.
I saw that theres one in Hull this weekend and there's usually one in Halifax (?)

A silver 156 eh? Where I live (Kings Road area) is silver 156 city - there are three within spitting distance and my mate who lives 50 yards away has a new 1.9jtd GT. It's like a bloody dealership round here!! (Except without the crap customer service (although Piccadilly Knaresborough aren't too bad ))
Back to the cocktails - those HOT Bloody Marys are the absolute Bomb
Thanks for the all the concern about Thailand everybody - it's good to be back on the forum!!

Did you know that the 166 and the Thesis are built next to each other in the same factory?

Re: Blimey, I've just seen a........................
Sorry couldn't resist to reply here. But I think I beat you today, I saw a Lancia Stratos Concept in London. The new one that was in Auto Italia the other month. Unbelievably it is taking part in the Gumball 3000 rally. Had to go to work today so made a detour to get some pictures before they set off. Not brilliant pics but got one of the Stratos and an Enzo side bide side
Will post them soon.
