They wouldn't put me off.. but it's not good to see poor results. It just encourages the stereotypes about Alfas being unreliable.
Publishing the "results" is pretty pointless though... It just proves that new cars that lead a pampered life under a car cover are more likely to pass an MOT than a decade-old car which is parked in the street...
Well, thanks HJ.. that really increased the sum of human knowledge...
I also think that many Alfas are kept running longer than other cars and quite simply this means you just get more failures as the car is flirting with death every year.. patched up and run some more... whereas a lesser make suffering from no real enthusiasm for it in the owner may have just been sent to the Great Scrapyard in the Sky...
