HUGE Selespeed issues 147!

Hi, I recently bought my 2nd Alfa, another 147 but this time the selespeed 53 plate. It has been running fine for a few days but today I was slowing down coming towards a motorway exit and the car just started accelerating on its own, I was braking hard it was scary stuff, I saw Selespeed failure come up on the screen. I also noticed the accelerator pedal was stuck down to the floor too. I turned the engine off and back on and it was fine again I really don't want this to happen again!

I have 2 147s 2.0 one needs an engine rebuild 6000 miles after the last one and this one is trying to kill me!!! Is it time to give up and buy an Audi yet!!?

Check out the 147 tech forum, but really scary stuff by the founds of it
