Mito Veloce 1.6 JTDm or 1.4TB 155

Not sure which to buy, love the sporty 155, feels great but after having a JTDm 1.9 147 16v Im worried it will drink more than David Hasslehoff at a baywatch reunion.

On the other hand I felt the 1.6 to be a little sluggish, but I love the economy...

Anyone got either that can help me choose.

Sluggish Never have that problem with mine , goes like .... off a shovel and
can get the front tyres to spin up in 3rd regularly ...
You sure it was a 1.6 ?

I'm averaging 49.5 mpg but that is usually in D mode and local driving

Yeah just felt like I had to work the bejesus out of it to get it excited - Its a lovely car but compared to the 147 JTDm it didnt feel good to drive for those reasons.

Might drive it again tomorrow - both are ready to take, my 147 is being an ass and doesnt want to be traded - had to spend £300 to get the engine management light off.

I think the 155 is the best engine fitted to the MiTo. It's a little belter

I can't imagine a 1.4 petrol being too thirsty to be honest...and I reckon it would be much more fun
