YokoHama S306 - any good ?...found a geal for some.

Need a couple of Tyres for my GT and found some Yokohama S306 215/45/17 fitted for £70 a corner.

I only do 5-6K a year so can't really justify £150 a corner when these are probably more than adequate for my short urban drives - seem to review quite well..

Yokohama S306 215/45 R17 W
Number of ratings: 60
Car feels better to drive: 4/5 ave
Would buy again: 4/5 ave
Value for money: 4/5 ave
Overall Rating: 4/5 ave

Any reason not to ?

stuck 4 brand new ones on my 156 when i bought it. no problems with grip at all, and i'm still on the same rears after 41,000 miles and still some tread to spare. fronts lasted around 20-25,000 miles. i'd have them again like a flash

That's a great return Al - sounds like at £70 a pop they are going to be good value.

I had these on my 145 QV when I bought it. I would say they are good but not exceptional. I swapped them for Nankang NS-2 when they wore out and grip appeared pretty similar.

I have them on my 156 and am mightily impressed. A bit noisy and rigid but grip well but those strengthened sidewalls are a bonus especially on the $hitey Glasgow roads
