Hmmm Next Thruxton event

Just joined the Cloverleaf club and looking at the track day schedule. A friend did the recent Thruxton track day and says it's the best track and more likely to get driving time than at Brands Hatch.

So 2 questions:
  1. Does anyone agree with this statement or is Brands just as good or better? - it's a lot nearer to me as I live in Kent.
  2. If Thruxton is better does anyone have any idea of when the next track day might be?

By the way this would be my first ever track day.

Thanks
Steve

Re: Next Thruxton event

Thruxton is great for a first track day, because I did my first track day there. It's not a complicated circuit and, apart from the chicane, there are no difficult bits. It's a good place to learn the basics and then start to imporve. Don't think they have another one planned this year though.

Regards,

Nigel

Thanks Nigel,
Really wanted a day this year so I've just booked the September day at Brands - in at the deep end!
