As a guide my GTV does about 28-33MPG depending on roads, speed etc.
My 156 Sele does 25-30.
GTV is standard spec, but has a dodgy stat.
156 has GTA intake, high flow air filter, empty rear silencer to make it pretty much straight through. And I suspect an aftermarket chip. Don't know, but it is a lot quicker that any other 2.0TS engined 156 or 147 I have driven.
