Not Happy Dealer Customer Service

Well given the ARUK's Head Honcho's mission is to improve Customer Service it ain't going too well IMO

I won't go back over my past experiences with my 'supplying dealer' but I thought I'd found a really good replacement for them... until these last two weeks & now I'm not so sure !!

I've been trying to and book my car into an "ARUK Flagship Dealer" ('s) Service Centre have a 9000 mile oil and filter change - yes I know the scheduled interval is 18000 - only to be informed each time I call that either "They're on the 'phone at the moment" or "They're with someone at the moment" !!

So now after two weeks of trying, an average of one 'phone call every two days, four messages (name and number type for a call back) left with main reception and an on-line 'Request A Service' form filled in and submitted later, I've heard nothing back !!

WTF is going on

Looks like AD will be getting my business instead (well they might as well do the oil/filter change at the same time as doing the upgraded front discs and pads )

It's a real shame as last time I used this particular dealer the service was second to none !!

And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Nomes when I lay my vengeance upon you.

Re: Dealer Customer Service

Dealers can be a pain Nomes - sometimes a quick e-mail will resolve the problem.

Has there been a change of management at the dealer

'least you've still got a warranty.

My sales guy has yet to get back to me about
remedying my lack of a 3rd year guarantee.

Re: Dealer Customer Service

I still find that amazing Nev. A brand new 'premium brand' car with only 2 yrs' warranty. Hang your head in shame, Alfa!

Re: Dealer Customer Service

I also found the "not picking the phone up" thing to be VERY annoying on 2 occasions when I was trying to get some work done on my Brera.
The same dealer was also guilty of doing the "I'll get someone to return your call" thing, & they don't. A call to the dealer principal; eventually got it sorted, but it shouldn't have to be dealt with by the head honcho.
AMC Chelmsford, unfortunately.
This is the biggest problem with Alfa ownership, in my opinion. The cars are fab, but the dealers don't have the same pride in their product that the owners tend to have.
Matt.
