...but don't worry, another 156 will follow!
It's time to bid a fond farewell to my old 156. But I have (virtually) no idea what she will fetch.
She's a Selespeed Veloce, bought from new by me in March 2002 - she's done 86,000 miles. No, the Selespeed has been wonderful, I've enjoyed every minute of driving her! She hasn't skipped a beat in all that time.
Alfa Rosso, very little fade and all the panels and bumpers the same colour! The paintwork is excellent, owing to a recent very minor prang - my bodywork guy took the opportunity to get rid of stone chips and any little dings.
She's totally original apart from a full Rhoddy Harvey Bailey handling kit (springs and dampers). Oh, and I changed the Selespeed 16" alloys to 17"ers. They are also in very good condition. Tyres are the very excellent 215/45/ZR17 Avon ZZ3, lots of grip and only about 5,000 miles of wear - they are wearing very well too, I'm very happy with them!
Black Momo leather interior, in pretty well immaculate condition. Upgraded Alpine speakers,. front and rear.
She's pre-facelift but the bumpers are sprayed solid-red, ie without the black rubbing strips on - looks so much nicer.
Servicing courtesy of main dealers up to and including the 36,000 service. Since then, major services done by Jamie Porter. Run on fully synthetic since 12,000. Cambelt done at 36,000 and 72,000.
MOT till next March, Tax until the end of August.
I shall be selling her privately. She looks really lovely!
Whaddy'all reckon then?
