I am hoping to get into an Alfa GT soon, but currently have a Scooby WRX Sti.
I can add some credance to your mates, "boasts" of around 400 bhp.
I've seen some aftermarket mods which boost normall 270 Sti's up to around 400bhp, and after driving a STi myself for about a year, I can say, irrespective of what you were driving, the chances are mate, you would have been chasing shadows
. What draws me to the Alfa is not the performance (although it ain't a bad thing
), but the looks and styling
One of the other members also hit the nail on the head when he said off the start you'd be watching him go, but top end Scooby's don't pull that much, they are all about srpint.
Better part of valour on your behalf anyway, not worth writing off your pride and joy into an oncoming 18 wheel juggernaut
or making the missus
while you chuck around the bends.
